A1 – Keep Coastin The mixtape

A1, a rapper from the west coast and ATG, a producer from the east come together to give you Keep Coastin, the mixtape. ATG has been a Denizen of  Stush Studios for about 3 years. He first came to my attention as the producer of the Illuminati mixtape and became a fan of the Stush sound.

His beats are reminiscent of the classic boom bap era of hip hop and it’s obvious that DJ Premier can be listed as one of his influences. I don’t know much about A1 other than I like what I’ve heard so far but I am definitely a fan of ATG’s production.

All the beats were mixed here at Stush Music but A1 recorded in the Bay Area so I can’t vouch for the vocal quality.
